OK, spring finally arrived. We were waiting with projects lined up for several weeks.
The first nice day -lucky for us, Elizabeth was home on a break-we stained the deck, both front and back.
Immediately, Will leased a sod cutter, and we begin the landscaping project-to be completed before the upcoming wedding.
Later that evening Will complained of a headache and feeling tired
Elizabeth said-'I sure hope I don't come down with something now!!'
I thought-'I sure hope I don't get sick, wonder what I can do to stay healthy?'
Laura said-'Is Will really sick, hope I don't get it!'
Well- Will coughed, I coughed, Elizabeth reported she wasn't feeling well, Laura woke up with a sore throat and actually ate broccoli and carrots for lunch.
and
Gramma coughed................
Me to Gramma- "Sounds like you have the start of a cold, as I hear you cough some."
Gramma- Taken aback- "I do not have a cold, if you heard a cough, it was because I swallowed wrong"
Me- "Well, I asked because it seems I have a cold and I was wondering how you were feeling"
Gramma- "I'm feeling fine, you can keep YOUR COLD, I don't want it." and adding "there's nothing wrong with the way I feel"
So we will see- is it possible to believe you aren't going to get sick, and actually stay well? How much power is in positive thought?
haha...ugh what a bad time to get sick.
ReplyDeleteDitto. This is terrible. I've never gotten sick in June.
